Heading Home

And that’s it! I’m sitting at the airport in Belgium waiting for my flight to London, then Vancouver, then Seattle. In less than 24 hours, I’ll be back home. Back to real life. Back to my family and friends. Back to routine. Back to a somewhat balanced diet. Back to the city that I’ve missed so much these past 7 weeks. To say that this trip has exceeded my expectations is a huge understatement. Spending the first week with my parents, then 4 weeks with my study abroad family, then 2 weeks by myself was perfect. I can’t begin to express how thankful I am for the opportunity to study abroad in Rome and backpack around Europe. I’ve learned about other cultures and people, but I’ve also learned so much about myself. I can’t wait to get home and see everyone!
