Prague, Czech Republic

Prague. I don’t even know where to begin. Before I left for Europe, my mom told me not to fall in love on this trip. Well… I fell in love with Prague. There’s something special and indescribable about this city. Or maybe it was just the experience I had that made it so great. Either way, I’m going back ASAP.

Highlights of my time in Prague:
-Walking around and looking at the unbelievable (and sometimes creepy) buildings and statues
-Meeting up with my friend Josh and having a travel buddy to ramble on and on with about how much we love Prague
-Hiking up to the largest castle in the world and seeing the dungeons and armory rooms
-Staying at Hostel One Home, the best hostel I’ve stayed at with the nicest staff and a social atmosphere
-Trying Trdelník, Goulash, and other Czech foods
-Spending way less money than in other cities because prices are CHEAP
-Eating late-night burritos two nights in a row
-Meeting a guy from London and a girl from Chicago and spending the entire night with them
-Winning Trivia Night against 10 other teams!

I could go on, but I haven’t slept in almost 24 hours, so I’m going to attempt to get some sleep on this train. I stayed up all night and took the 5:30 AM train to Munich, Germany. I’ll definitely need a couple days to recover from this trip when I get home. Exhaustion is setting in, but it’s 100% worth it.
