Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

On Saturday, I got a text from Mama Miller saying that she found a last-minute deal to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. “I’m in” was my response (well duh). 2 days later, I was in paradise. While in Mexico, I had the chance to visit Familias de la Esperanza, one of our charity partners at pennys4change. While visiting their new facility to provide free housing for 75 underprivileged families, I met Danny and Javier. These two boys reminded me that you can be truly happy and content in any situation. They live in an extremely impoverished community near the city dump in Puerto Vallarta, but thanks to the help and support of Familias de la Esperanza, they have a safe place to hang out after school and eat a free lunch.

Couldn’t have asked for a better last-minute and much-needed trip with the fam ☀️
