Sunset Hike at Tolmie Peak!
Earlier this week, I went on a sunset hike at Tolmie Peak near Mount Rainier. It was one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen. I did this hike a few weekends ago, but it was super overcast, so we couldn't see Rainier. I've been determined to make it back up there, and I seized my opportunity on a nice clear evening on Monday.
It's mindblowing to me that we have access to breathtaking views like this... even after work. I left Tacoma at 5 PM. Arrived at the trailhead by 6:30. Hiked 3 miles to the top. Ate dinner with a view at 7:45. Watched the sunset at 8:15. Got back down by 9. And made it home by 10:30.
