Bringing Back the Weekly Vlog!
The last month has easily been one of the craziest months in the history of the world. I hope that everyone reading this is staying safe and making the most of your extra time with your loved ones.
The first few weeks of quarantine, I found myself in a constant state of fear. Fear of the virus. Fear of my loved ones getting sick. Fear of the economy. Fear of how this will affect my business and the people on my team. Fear of the unknown.
Then I was reminded of this little thing called GRATITUDE. I don’t know what the future holds, but I DO know one thing: We still have SO much to be grateful for. Everyone’s situation is different, and I don’t want to discredit that. No matter what you’re going through, I encourage you to simply think about a few things that you’re grateful for. For me, I’m grateful that my family is healthy. I’m grateful for the roof over my head. I’m grateful that I have a full refrigerator. I’m grateful for technology that allows us to communicate and even continue doing business. I’m grateful for all the incredible doctors, nurses, grocery store workers, and everyone else on the front lines.
BRINGING BACK THE WEEKLY VLOG!
I took a long hiatus from Vlogging, but baby I'm back!
Excited to share my journey of life, one week at a time 🗓
PNW STRONG
Last month, we launched our #PNWstrong Campaign to feature local businesses all around the Pacific Northwest who have been impacted by Covid-19. We've interviewed 30+ awesome business owners, and it's been incredible hearing their stories. Check out all the interviews HERE!
We even made a PNW Strong t-shirt, and 100% of the proceeds go to charity. Please consider buying a shirt at PNWstrong.com :)
APRIL CHALLENGE - GO LIVE EVERY DAY
I've been going LIVE on Facebook every single day this month! So far, I've shared my 5 favorite coffee shops in Seattle, the top-secret Miller Marg recipe, one of my favorite travel stories, some of my all-time favorite books, and more.
Check out some of the videos on my Facebook :)
TRAINING FOR A MARATHON
I ran 14 miles around Seattle last weekend. I’m training for a marathon in June, and I am so incredibly grateful to have such a beautiful place to run. For any of my runners out there, do you have any marathon training tips? 🏃
EMPATHY
Earlier this week, I shared one of my life philosophies:
Live life with the assumption that everyone you talk to is going through a hardship or tough time. This will turn your judgment and frustration with people into empathy and understanding.
REAL ESTATE ANNIVERSARY
I celebrated 6 years as a Real Estate Agent this week! Check out my new Theory Team Member Bio Video
HAPPY EARTH DAY!
Earth Day was just a few days ago, and I have a CRAZY travel bug right now. All I want is to hop on a plane and fly somewhere new ✈️ Where’s your favorite place you’ve ever traveled??
WHAT I’M READING
One of my goals for 2020 is to read 52 books by the end of the year (1 per week). I am a little bit behind right now, but I'm trying to catch up over the next week!
I just started reading the Compound Effect by Darren Hardy. I've actually read it before probably 5 years ago, but it was one of my favorites, so I'm reading through it again to hopefully gain some new insights.
What books have you read lately that you'd recommend? Looking for any and all suggestions!
“Resilience is accepting your new reality, even if it's less good than the one you had before. You can fight it, you can do nothing but scream about what you've lost, or you can accept it and try to put together something that's good.”
