Drinking a Gallon of Water Every Day for a Month
I drank a gallon of water every single day in July. So. Much. Water.
I seriously underestimated how much liquid is in a gallon. Before July, I don't think I drank a gallon of water any single day in my life - let alone for 31 days straight.
Although it was tough, I definitely experienced several benefits from drinking so much water: More energy throughout the day, less coffee consumption, and a decreased appetite.
Going forward, my goal with water is to drink half my body weight in ounces each day. I won't be as strict with myself as I was last month, but I will continue drinking a lot of water! Anyone else watch the water episode on Down to Earth?
MY AUGUST CHALLENGE
Last week, I let my social media friends help me decide what to do for my August Challenge. I narrowed it down to 4 options and let people vote for their favorite. Here’s a breakdown of the votes:
No TV, Netflix, or YouTube - 7 Votes
Random Act of Kindness Every Day - 21 Votes
Yoga Every Day - 16 Votes
Make a New Recipe Every Day - 13 Votes
My August Challenge is to do a random act of kindness every day this month!
BUSTING MYTHS
We filmed a bunch of educational videos this week, so I wanted to take a moment to bust one of the most common real estate myths. Contrary to popular belief, you do NOT need 20% down to buy a home. There are tons of loans out there for first-time homebuyers with very low money out of pocket. Buying a home is WAY easier than most people think!
WEEKEND AT THE BEACH
I spent last weekend in Seaside, Oregon celebrating my brother's birthday. If you haven't been before, it's a beautiful little beach town that's definitely worth checking out!
