Exciting Stuff Happening on South Tacoma Way

I tried something new this week: Creating a Vlog every single day. I really enjoy documenting my days and being able to look back on the highs, lows, and lessons learned on a daily basis. Life has a tendency to fly by, and Vlogging every day this week has really helped slow things down for me (as weird as that sounds). It's absolutely insane how much we can accomplish in a week.

Something that I try to remind myself of often is the fact that I have the same number of hours in the day as Jeff Bezos, Dwayne the Rock Johnson, GaryVee, and Oprah. If you look at highly-successful people, it's easy to put them on a pedastal and think that they are super-humans. In reality, they are just people who maximize their days. Creating these daily vlogs has made me completely rethink how I spend my time and reevaluate what's possible in 24 hours. Life is short y'all - make it count!

THEORY'S NEW MISSION STATEMENT

Last week, we announced Theory's new Mission Statement. Unbelievably excited to continue taking the PNW by storm with the best team on the planet 😎

STORY TIME!

In June of 2014, I broke my foot while on a run around Seattle. The next day, I left for a 2-month Europe Trip. I studied abroad in Rome, where I hobbled around on the cobblestone streets in my boot. I walked for at least an hour every day from my apartment to the school. After about a month in Italy, I went to a hospital for a check-up, met with a doctor who only spoke Italian (I don't speak Italian), found another hospital with an English-speaking doctor, and learned that I ended up fracturing another bone in my foot because I never let it heal properly. After months of physical therapy, I still walk with a slight limp to this day 😂
