Tena, Ecuador

Weekend in the Amazon Rainforest. We had monkeys on our heads at Monkey Beach. We went on a hike in which our guide got bit by a poisonous bug within the first 5 minutes. We visited an ecological reserve. We made homemade chocolate with an indigenous family. We almost capsized in these boats. We spent 2 hours hiking through caves with giant spiders (good thing I’m claustrophobic). And we got eaten alive by mosquitos. Nuff said.
