Dessert Every Day for a Month
April & May Challenges
Dessert every day for a month was a huge success. By far my favorite challenge to date :) This twice-baked chocolate croissant from Bakery Nouveau was a delicious way to end the month (I may or may not have also eaten a cinnamon roll after dinner)
Today is the first day of May, and my challenge is slightly less fun. My goal is to burn 1,000+ calories per day working out. It's going to be a very active month!
PS this does not in any way mean the end of daily desserts. I workout so that I can eat what I want ;)
Iron Man Training
This is the face of someone who officially signed up for a (half) Iron Man and is scared out of his mind. I'm doing the IRONMAN 70.3 on September 17th in Maple Valley, Washington
This Saturday was the nicest day of the year so far, so I decided to go for a long run in the sun! Check out this video of my half marathon around Seattle
Boston Trip
I spent a weekend in Boston last month to cheer on my friend Brandon as he ran the Boston Marathon. We had an amazing time exploring the city, eating everything in sight, learning a ton of US history, going to a Red Sox game at MLB’s oldest ballpark, and soaking up the 80+ degree weather!
Real Estate Anniversary
April 21st marked 9 years since I got my real estate license. When I decided to get licensed nearly a decade ago, the one and only reason was that I wanted to be able to say that I’m a 4th-generation real estate agent. I had no idea if I’d ever actually work in real estate, and I certainly didn’t envision the career that I have today. My favorite thing about the real estate industry is that there are an infinite number of paths that you can take. Every day presents new opportunities and challenges, and I can say without hesitation that I haven’t experienced a moment of boredom in the last 9 years. Thank you to everyone has been a part of my real estate journey!
