Completing the Seattle to Portland Bike Ride!
This last weekend, I attempted a lifelong bucket list item: the Seattle to Portland bike ride. This is an annual event with over 5,000 participants riding their bicycles from Seattle, WA to Portland, OR (probably self-explanatory).
I departed Seattle Saturday morning at 5:40 AM and arrived in Portland almost 17 hours later at 10:25 PM. One of the longest days of my life. The farthest I’ve ever moved my body in a single day. 200+ miles of joy, camaraderie, self-doubt, and pain.
I had the option of doing it over 2 days, but I was determined to finish in 1 (mainly because I didn’t want to have to get back on the bike day 2). In hindsight, this was probably a mistake. It was SO much harder than I expected. The last 100 miles were brutal. The last 60 miles felt endless. The last 30 miles were excruciating. I really didn’t know if I was going to make it.
The thing that pushed me through was the people - the dozens of encouraging messages I received throughout the day, the spectators along the sidelines with their signs and cheers, the volunteers supplying water and snacks at every rest stop, and the pep talks from other riders along the way. I 100% could not have done this alone. Feeling overwhelmed with emotion and gratitude as I reflect on the day. Much love to all

Monthly Challenges
My June challenge was pretty simple: Follow a balanced diet with no desserts + Move my body every day. Feelin' good after 30 days of healthy habits!
For the month of July, I opted to skip a monthly challenge because it is an action-packed month with physical challenges almost every weekend. Learn more HERE!
Real Estate Stuff
Huge congrats to Kabir (and Layka ) on the purchase of your first home in Seattle! After looking at dozens of homes that weren’t quite right, I ended up negotiating the sale of the townhome he was already renting. He got a great deal on it and also doesn’t have to deal with the hassle of moving. Win-win all around!
2nd Annual Theory Summer Retreat on Anderson Island!
Check out my newest listing in the heart of Ballard! I had the privilege of selling this home back in 2021. After nearly 3 years of making memories AND making some beautiful updates to the home, my friends are moving on to their next chapter. I listed this home last month and accepted a great offer within the first week!
